Frequently Asked Questions
- Do I need an account to use the free tier?
- No. The free tier is open to anyone — upload a PDF and you'll receive the BRAVE XLSX and CSV by email. There is no signup flow.
- Are PDFs stored?
- Original PDFs are generally not retained after extraction, except for transient processing, deduplication, security, abuse prevention, debugging, and similar operational needs. Extracted BRAVE output, content hashes, and metadata are retained. See the Privacy Policy for full details.
- What happens if I exceed 5 extractions in a day?
- The free tier is rate-limited per IP. If you hit the limit and need more volume immediately, email help@appraisalapi.com for Enterprise API access.
- Does Enterprise API include a SLA?
- Enterprise contracts include availability and response-time commitments. Specific terms are negotiated per engagement based on volume and integration requirements.
